A deposit or full payment may be required before work begins, depending on the project.
Any remaining balance must be paid according to the payment terms agreed upon for the project.
Work, files, website access, or final deliverables may be withheld until outstanding balances are paid in full.
3. Revisions
The number of revisions included with a project will be communicated before work begins.
Revisions are intended for reasonable adjustments to the agreed-upon design or project scope. Requests that substantially change the original project direction may be considered additional work and may require an additional fee.
Revision availability and deadlines may vary by project.
4. Project Scope & Additional Work
Requests outside of the original agreed-upon project scope may result in additional charges.
Examples may include:
Additional website pages
Additional design concepts
New features or functionality
Additional graphics or artwork
Major changes to previously approved work
Additional revisions beyond the included amount
Any additional charges will be communicated before the additional work is completed.
5. Website Hosting & Third-Party Services
Some websites may rely on third-party platforms or services, including website hosting providers, domain registrars, payment processors, email services, plugins, and other software.
John Obi Designs is not responsible for outages, pricing changes, limitations, policy changes, or technical issues caused by third-party services.
Third-party subscription or service fees are separate from John Obi Designs' design fees unless otherwise agreed upon.
6. Domain Names
Domain registration and renewal fees are separate from website design fees unless specifically included in the project agreement.
Clients are responsible for maintaining ownership and renewal of their domain unless otherwise agreed upon.
7. Portfolio Use
Unless otherwise agreed upon in writing, John Obi Designs may display completed work in its portfolio, website, social media, or other promotional materials.
If a project contains confidential information or the client requests that the work remain private, this can be discussed before publication.
8. Cancellations & Refunds
Project cancellation and refund terms may depend on the stage of the project and the amount of work already completed.
Payments for completed work, purchased resources, third-party services, or non-refundable expenses may not be refundable.
Any cancellation request should be submitted as soon as possible.
9. Website Content
Clients are responsible for ensuring that content they provide to John Obi Designs does not violate copyright, trademark, privacy, or other applicable laws.
John Obi Designs is not responsible for legal claims resulting from client-provided content.
10. Privacy
John Obi Designs may collect information submitted through forms, project inquiries, bookings, or other interactions with the website.
Information is used to communicate with clients, provide requested services, process transactions, and manage projects.
John Obi Designs does not intentionally sell personal information to third parties.
